What Do You Think?

Okay, i'll admit it. I listen to progressive talk radio and watch more liberal tv because I CANNOT watch some of the other stuff, but the truth is, I'm a fairly smart person who reads and listens and I've been around a while, and the liberal perspective rings true for me and makes a lot of sense. My partner told me tonite to quit listening to the news as it can upset me. And it does. So why do I listen? I think I decided it is like a mystery or a movie and I DEFINITELY want to see the good guys win. For example, the union employees who are getting shafted by many Republican governors. So how will it come out? Is there something I can do to help?
Will the good guys win? It is really bad right now and the Governors and the Republican house members are very brazen in their defiance of the people's choice and of the middle class. The Republican house members owned by the tea party are not open to any compromise and are not working across the table to come up with any solutions for the American people. they want to win for their Corporate interests only as that is money in their pocket and it buys their elections. The selfishness in politics amazes me. I would not want to be with any of those people as they are dishonest and will do anything for personal gain. How appalling. I will sign every petition, join every cause, and donate money to help avert some of these people from ever making another choice about my country. It won't be their loss as they will get a job making $500,000. a year working for one of the companies they helped avoid paying taxes or gave them rights, rights, rights. They sure don't care about the bottom 98% of the Americans. Join me and write every congressman and senator and the president. Tell them to stand up to these atrocities. Yes, President Obama is being too nice.
